Irish group The Talbot Collection chooses HotelREZ representation

Ireland-based The Talbot Collection is the latest hotel group to join HotelREZ Hotels & Resorts (HotelREZ) for GDS representation. Their aim is to offer a range of stripped-back budget hotels under the brand's promise 'everything you need to set you up for what you've come to do,' thereby ensuring that guests receive comfortable and affordable accommodation that doesn't distract from their main motive for staying.Naushad Jivraj, Queensway Group CEO, explains the concept:Point A Hotels has been built on the insight that savvy travellers are focused on what they've come to the city for, rather than the hotel they're staying at. HotelREZ helps independent hotels target Chinese Travellers

Ray Sims, a hotel veteran in the US, is a heavy weight hire for hotel representation company HotelREZ Hotels & Resorts; as the company renews its focus on the North American market. The former Senior VP of sales at GENARES Reservations, Sims has specialized in the hotel central reservation technology industry for the past twenty years.Sims has had an accomplished career in travel, having successfully established two hotel reservation companies in the past two decades; Lexington Services and GENARES reservations. He also has an extensive background in hotel operations, having acted as a Regional General Manager at Travelodge/ Trusthouse Forte Hotels for 15 years. The hospitality expert will now join HotelREZ Hotels & Resorts, a leading global hotel representation company headquartered in Europe, as the company continues to expand into the American market.Acting as Vice President of Business Development for the Americas, Sims will be working to increase the company's portfolio of hotels represented on the Global Distribution Systems under the HotelREZ HO chain code, as well as secure increased business for the company's global portfolio of independent hotels.
