Guestline looks to build on Irish success story in 2018 as hoteliers increase demand for cloud-based technology

3 min read

The company now looks set for further growth in 2018 as more Irish hoteliers make the move to cloud-hosted property management and distribution solutions to support their operations.

Since its launch in Ireland, Guestline has been appointed by a host of new properties across the country. This growth in sales has been led by country manager Clio O'Gara and regional sales manager Ingrid Fallon. Responsible for driving growth and raising awareness of Guestline's portfolio of solutions the team has seen significant growth in its first six months. New wins have included Wynn's Hotel and The Green Isle Hotel (Dublin), Shannon Springs Hotel (Shannon Airport), The Glendalough Hotel (Wicklow) as well as both properties within the Randles Hotels Group (Dromhall Hotel and Randles Hotel).

James Cannon, head of international development, Guestline, comments:

"2017 was a year of strong growth for Guestline globally and the launch in Ireland was a significant part of this expansion. There has been an increasing demand for cloud-based technology from all areas of the hospitality market and this trend looks set to continue into the new year.

"The team we have in place has a passionate commitment to educating hoteliers on the advantages of using the cloud to support operations. Many hotel owners and operators across the country are now reaping the benefits of the flexibility and remote access that the cloud offers. This is in addition to its ease of installation, simplicity of use, affordability and particularly for hotel groups its scalability to deliver one web-based PMS platform that can be easily deployed across all sites.

"During 2017 we have invested in attending a host of high-profile industry events to support our expansion and client base. This looks set to continue during 2018 as we plan to meet the continued growing demand from the Irish hospitality industry for market leading software that supports efficiencies and profitability."
